The Russian airline industry has seen a sharp 16.5 percent drop in traffic in the six months to July, the country's Federal Aviation agency reported. Russia's airlines carried 5.25m passengers in July, 10.8 percent fewer year-on-year. Some Russian airlines close to bankruptcy are said to have started restructuring talks.
