EgyptAir yesterday said an economy class passenger "tried to hijack" a flight headed from Istanbul Ataturk to Cairo "using a knife from an inflight meal." MS said onboard security "detained him in a very short time" and the aircraft landed safely in Cairo, where the Sudanese passenger was remanded to authorities. Oct 22, 2009
