November 6, 2009 (FinancialWire) -- Mohawk Industries, Inc., (NYSE: MHK) has appointed W. Christopher Wellborn as the firm's president and chief operating officer. Wellborn has held the position of COO since November 2005 and served on Mohawk's board since 2002.
Wellborn held the position of president of the firm's ceramic and stone products business, from March 2002 to November 2005.
