The New York Chamber Soloists never cease to bring innovative programs to the stage. With a core of 12 virtuosic musicians who perform in a variety of formations, they can be more versatile than most chamber music ensembles.
"The group was designed to play music in different combinations than a standard piano trio or string quartet and to learn new pieces so that they become repertory," said the group's founder, Melvin Kaplan, in a telephone interview.
