Another New York track ran its final race of the 2009 season and it served as the finale for a couple of series. And this weekend, a pair of speedways will host the final races of the year in the Empire State.
Five Mile Point Speedway in Kirkwood hosted its annual National Quarter Mile Dirt Track Championship last weekend. Sportsman and Stock Cars ran on Friday and Saturday's Southern Tier 100 was pushed back to Sunday due to the rain. On the line was the Race of Champions Dart Dirt Modified Tour championship.
