Joyce P. Matzke, 90, of Central Square, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at University Hospital, Syracuse. Born in Waukegan, IL, she had lived in Central Square since 1960. She was a communicant of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Central Square and with her husband, co-founded the Downstairs Scotty at St. Michael's about 38 years ago. She was predeceased by her husband, Deacon Leo Matzke in 1998; and a grandson, David Matzke in 2003.
Surviving are three daughters, Doreen Douglas of San Diego, CA, Patrice (Randy) Brooks of Central Square and Mari Ann (David) Calkins of Franklin, NH; three sons, Leo N. ...
