CHESAPEAKE - Thomas Ernest Barrett, 67, of the 2800 block of Covey Court, passed away Nov. 3, 2009, in his home.
A native of Sylva, N.C., he was the son of the late Elmer and Pearl Chastain Barrett and the widower of Helen R. Barrett. He retired from NORSHIPCO as a pipe fitter.
He is survived by his daughter, Sharon A. Sturges and her husband Tulsa of Chesapeake; his son, Ronald Rhoton of Lake Worth, Fla.; three sisters, Nancy Roughton of Suwannee, Ga., Susie Johnson of Burlington, N.C., and Jane Weaver of Las Vegas, Nev.; a brother, ...
