You have to wonder what took so long.
After years of wild success with the Toyota Prius gas-electric hybrid, it would be expected that Toyota would offer a luxury variant for its Lexus lineup. While Lexus has fielded a number of hybrid models, they were all derived from mainstream gasoline vehicles.
With the arrival of the Lexus HS250h, Lexus finally has its own hybr id, comple te with a heavy dose of Lexus luxury.
