How did you get into your line of work?
I worked in college as a means to meet my financial obligations. Upon graduation I continued employment in the hospitality industry. I progressed naturally from kitchen to waiter, head waiter, assistant manager, general manager to owner.
What were some of the things you did before that?
Newspaper delivery, pest extermination and bicycle rentals.
What brought you to the Outer Banks?
I lived only 60 miles away and it was a place we visited on weekends in the spring, summer and fall, whenever possible. Most of my friends came to "The Beach" also. It was as much fun as the law allowed when ...
