A DUTY TRIP landed us in Chesapeake; a whim sent us looking for antiques. In Greenbrier on an errand, we looked at a map and our handy brochure, "Northern and Eastern Virginia May 2008-May 2009 Sunday Driver Directories of Dealers in Quality Antiques ." Even though our guide was slightly expired, we realized we were a hop and skip from what Chesapeakians call "Antique Alley."
Excellent.
We scurried to the junction of Military Highway and Canal Drive and found what we were looking for.
