In quite different ways these books increase our understanding of the dynamics of the Christian Right. The Watson book studies the Christian Coalition, focusing on the thought of Robert Reed and Pat Robertson, while the Rozell and Wilcox book analyzes at the state level the role played by the Christian Right in the 1996 elections.
