Projects bringing new investments and jobs to Detroit, Commerce Township, Wixom and Mt. Clemens are among 10 developments throughout Michigan that were approved Tuesday for state tax credits.
Southeast Michigan projects approved for state assistance by the board of the Michigan Economic Growth Authority were:
* A $21.4 million investment by Toledo-based Ohio Module Manufacturing Co. L.L.C. in a former Arvin Meritor Inc. site in Southwest Detroit. Ohio Module, which will build chassis modules for the Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango at the site, plans to create 200 jobs and was approved for a $1.8 million tax credit. Crain's ...
