Charlotte taps Detroiters for its auto show
The Greater Charlotte Automobile Dealers Association is taking a page from Detroit.
The association plans a new charity preview event to kick off the Charlotte International Auto Show.
The association has tapped several current and former Detroiters to help make the inaugural event on Nov. 18 in Charlotte, N.C., as successful as the annual charity preview of the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
Dick Lewis, a 35-year veteran and retiree of then-General Motors Corp., is producer of the Charlotte show.
