Much of the mudslinging in the battle over bringing casinos to Ohio highlights the money that will be coming into or flowing out of the state. But it appears that while these campaigns are talking the talk, they aren't necessarily walking the walk.
A significant chunk of the $40 million-plus that has been spent on consultants and advertising by the campaigns for and against Issue 3, which would allow the creation of four casinos in Ohio, has gone to out-of-state businesses, according to campaign finance reports filed Oct. 22 with the Ohio Secretary of State.
