There seems to be some slight disagreement along Interstate 76 about what will drive redevelopment and bring new business to the area first: multimillion-dollar upgrades at the headquarters of Akron's two big tiremakers, Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. and Bridgestone Firestone, or the rapidly building momentum to transform the area around I-76 into on a top high-tech corridor.
