Equipment suppliers in the rubber industry have had a difficult time during the economic downturns this decade, as manufacturers often reduce, postpone or cancel their capital expenditures during recessions. Many providers of presses, mixers and extruders are left to do what they canfocus on alternative markets or niche products or rely on spare parts and serviceto build revenues, or, in some cases, survive.
