AN eleventh hour decision to reopen negotiations over the sale of Petroplus' Teesside oil refinery threw the future of the plant into confusion this morning.
Yesterday, Swiss-based Petroplus confirmed that the 117,000 barrel-a-day North Tees refinery, which has been idle since April, would be converted for terminal operations with the loss of 75 jobs.
