TORONTO, ONTARIO, Nov 6, 2009 (Marketwire via COMTEX) -- The City of Toronto will 'Jump Up' for public child care this Sunday, November 8, with a free concert at Riverdale Collegiate from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The free community concert called 'Jump Up For Public Child Care' is a project of the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) Ontario, the Ontario Coalition for Better Child Care (OCBCC), and the Ontario Federation of Labour (OFL).
This free concert is family-friendly and non-partisan. It will feature children's musician and Juno Award nominee Chris McKhool, and local children's author Andrea Beck, author of the Elliott Moose series of books. ...
