PORTLAND, Ore., Sept. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Hollywood Entertainment Corporation (Nasdaq: HLYW), which operates the world's second largest chain of home video superstores under the Hollywood Video banner, has appointed James J. Buettgen as Senior Vice President, Marketing, it was announced today by President Jeff Yapp.
Buettgen held the same position at Darden Restaurants' Olive Garden chain, where he spent more than four years. While there, he was recognized by the respected trade publication, Advertising Age, as one of the top-100 marketing executives in the nation. Prior to that, he worked with General Mills in brand management.
