I WISH to report a double theft. I've just been to New Zealand's fabulous North Island and I've had a Monday stolen.
The plane left London on a Sunday afternoon, landed for refuelling in Los Angeles on the Sunday evening and then flew across the empty blue acres of the South Pacific to Auckland - landing on the Tuesday morning without seeing Monday.
Of course, it's all to do with crossing the International Date Line but I can't help feeling I've been robbed... or, at the very least, I lost my Monday down the back of life's ...
