Armenia's leading mobile operator by subscribers K-Telecom (trading as VivaCell-MTS) has revealed plans to deploy 4G mobile broadband services based on Long Term Evolution (LTE) technology in 2010, according to local news agency ARKA.
Although no specifics have been given, in a web site statement VivaCell-MTS, which is owned by Russian powerhouse Mobile TeleSystems (MTS), explained its decision by pointing to forecasts that suggest mobile broadband access growth will accelerate next year.
