The geothermal industry in Chile is "showing movement towards action," the CEO of Nevada-based geothermal power firm Ormat Technologies (NYSE: ORA), Dita Bronicki, said in a conference call with investors and analysts.

"In the international markets, we see movement towards action in geothermal, but not actual action," Bronicki said.

"Chile is an example of this. Chile is a country that has huge, all untapped and all undeveloped geothermal potential," she continued.
