Babcock International Group PLC, a support services company to government departments, has acquired UKAEA Limited from the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority. All the parties are based in the UK. UKAEA is a provider of nuclear decommissioning, waste management and site environmental remediation services.
Babcock International has agreed to acquire UKAEA from the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority for a cash consideration of GBP50 million. According to The Independent Business, Babcock International is contemplated to be one of the potential bidders to acquire UKAEA from the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority.
