Canadian telecoms equipment supplier Nortel continues to sign new contracts with customers for its enterprise solutions portfolio in the Caribbean and Latin America (CALA) market, despite its ongoing bankruptcy process, the company said in a statement.
US telecoms equipment supplier Avaya (NYSE: AV) emerged in September as the successful bidder for Nortel's Enterprise Solutions business, agreeing to pay US$900mn.
The unit covers North America, CALA and Asia.
The new business won includes customers spanning different vertical segments such as service providers, government, hospitality and finance, Nortel said.
