An Asian mobile operator will utilize the equipment to support satellite-based cellular backhaul service expansion.

The order specifies Comtech EF Data's CDM-600 Satellite Modems and redundancy switches, plus the CX-U Series cellular backhaul platform from its subsidiary, Memotec, Inc.
