STAFF at BBC Wales have accused their bosses of meanness after their Christmas party subsidy was withdrawn.
In some cases, groups of workers had already paid deposits for parties in the expectation that the usual pounds 25 subsidy would be available.
The decision to scrap the employer's contribution to the party fund was taken by BBC executive members in London, and passed down the line to Wales, where there are around 1,200 staff members.
