Thanks partly to its Mississippi recipes, Britain has become smitten with American-owned Outsider Tart bakery in London.

David Muniz, an entrepreneur who grew up in Hattiesburg, and David Lesniak, an architect from New Jersey, began baking as a hobby when they moved to London in October 2005. They craved the tastes of cakes, cupcakes, and pies from home. And since they couldn't find any, they began making them.
