It all started three years ago when Kathy and Tim Ford moved into the small gated enclave of Winterfield just off Old Canton Road, just around the corner from the Country Club of Jackson. Their friends Lisa and Pat Busby and Debbie and Joe McCaskill, who already lived in other French-style houses there, decided that hosting a holiday "block party" would be a wonderful way to celebrate the season.
