BRIAN Murphy signed off for Bohemians last night hours after being catapulted straight into Ireland's World Cup squad to face France next week.
On the day French superstar Patrick Vieira blasted Raymond Domenech for leaving him out of the national squad, Giovanni Trapattoni turned to 26-year-old Murphy to solve a goalkeeping problem.
With Coventry City's Kieren Westwood ruled out with a back injury, Trap has backed Ipswichbound Murphy to provide cover for Shay Given and Joe Murphy against Thiery Henry and Co.
