DEAR EDITOR:
I have been a member of the FSCT for many years. Our Federation has always been dedicated to the advancement of coaling science and technology; and we do it very well.
However, since the FSCT has joined with the NPCA it appears that our objectives have changed. We have become more of a lobbying organization for the paint and coating industry. I refer to the article on page 8 of the July/ August 2009 issue of Coatings Tech announcing that the NPCA/FSCT has filed an amicus brief in an asbestos-related case before the Texas Court of Appeals. How does this support the advancement of coating science and technology?
It is obvious to me ...
