LET'S GET the adjectives out of the way first. Antediluvian. Incandescent. Insulting. Laughable. Will that do for a start? They may be long - ish but this being a family newspaper they're polite - ish. What I really want to say is that the judgment allowing Portmarnock Golf Club to continue to bar women from full membership is a load of ******** but I'm afraid that that will appear as a load of asterisks and that's not nearly as satisfying.
