Kazatomprom boosts net profit 50% in Jan-Sep 2009

ALMATY. Nov 6 (Interfax) - Kazatomprom, Kazakhstan's national nuclear company, boosted net profit 50% year-on-year in January-September 2009 to 29.018 billion tenge, the company said in a consolidated earnings report, published in the official press.

Sales revenue grew 34.8% to 122 billion tenge, and cost of sold goods and services rose 32% to 73 billion tenge.

Assets rose to 378.344 billion tenge from 341.669 billion tenge during the nine months, and equity to 272.4 billion tenge from 231 billion tenge.
