Baosteel is China's largest steelmaker in September
Shanghai. November 6. INTERFAX-CHINA - Baoshan Iron and Steel Group (Baosteel Group) was China's largest steelmaker in September 2009, with crude steel production down 2.15 percent on a monthly basis to 3.55 million tons, according to figures released by Mysteel on Nov. 4.
Baosteel Group's output over the first nine months amounted to 27.96 million tons, down 7.5 percent from the same period of 2008.
Hebei Iron and Steel Group was the country's No. 2 steelmaker in September with crude steel output of 3.52 million tons, down 5.09 percent from the previous month. The steel mill's output over the ...
