Seabrokers and other brokers have confirmed that Ezra Holdings in Singapore has acquired at distressed prices equipment including engines and thrusters from the failed Ice Maiden project.
C & M Group in the UK had planned to convert Paardeberg, a former Russian icebreaker into a floating accommodation vessel to be named Ice Maiden.
Ezra plan to design and build an ice-class flexlay vessel at its Vietnam fabrication yard utilising the purchased equipment.
