The SMB connector is a follow-on design to the SMA and features a smaller interface with a snap-on coupling. Aviel Electronics has added a push-lock feature to the standard MIL-STD-348 snap-on coupling SMB design. That increases the disengagement force to a minimum of 5 pounds.
