Nov 08, 2009 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- On 6 November 2009, shares in Transurban climbed 5.9 per cent to $A5.55 each. The closing price was $A0.30 higher than the takeover bid for the Australian listed tollroad operator lodged by Ontario Teachers Pensions Plan and the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board. Analysts expect the two pension funds to raise the $A6.8 billion offer.
