Nov 08, 2009 (The Australian - ABIX via COMTEX) -- George Patterson, a subsidiary of global advertising agencies group WPP, is celebrating the 75th anniversary of its founding. However, despite being the undisputed market leader in Australia for half a century, it has been in steady decline. Executives at the firm are adamant it is now well positioned for recovery, although an ongoing legal dispute between WPP and seller Pacific Equity Partners over the George Patterson acquisition is still unresolved.
