Byline: Giles Parkinson

Nov 08, 2009 (The Australian - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Ocean Power Technologies (OPT) has won the $A66.5m grant to build a $A200m wave energy facility in Victoria. OPT beat rivals bidders including Oceanlinx and Carnegie Wave Technology to secure the contract. It will collaborate with Leighton Contractors to build the 19 megawatt plant.
