PLANS for a new nuclear power station - Wylfa B - on Anglesey, could be fast-tracked under controversial guidelines set to be unveiled by the UK Government today.
Energy secretary Ed Miliband will reveal his blueprint for the future of the energy industry, and it is hoped there will be clear statements of intent on the 11 proposed sites for new nuclear development.
Part of today's statements will also see the speeding up of the planning system for major nuclear, fossil fuel and renewable energy projects.
