BEIRUT: The founder of the Middle East Network Operators Group (MENOG) announced he is standing down as chairman of the organisation at its meeting in Beirut.
Bahrain-based 2Connect managing director Fahad Al Shirawi will continue to remain as MENOG founding chair, an honorary title in recognition of his accomplishments.
MENOG is a regional forum offering telecommunication network engineers and other technical staff the opportunity to share knowledge and experiences and identify areas for regional co-operation.
