ROYAL Golf Club (RGC) 'B' took the Premier Flight lead yesterday on the first day of the AMH Island Classic Golf Tournament, being held at His Majesty King Hamad's private golf course in Safriya.
Mike Braidwood led the four-member team to the lead with a good score of 53.5 points.
Braidwood, the RGC general manager, was accompanied by teammates Shaikh Rashid Al Khalifa, Issa Al Bourshaid and Sara Thompson.
The second place of the first day went to Al Hawaj, with a score of 54.5, and consisted of Abdulrahman Shaikh Ali, Moh'd Khalifa Moh'd, Yousif Al Murbati and Nabil Sept Mohammed.
