Emil W. Henry, Jr., a former U.S. Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for Financial Institutions, has launched an infrastructure private equity firm with backing from of Tiger Management Corp. founder Julian Robertson.
The new fund will operate under the name Tiger Infrastructure Partners LP. According to a Tiger Management representative, Robertson has invested his own private capital into the fund, but he has "no management at all in the fund." The fund will focus on North American and European middle-market infrastructure investments.
