THE NOOSE is set to tighten around former Jharkhand chief minister Madhu Koda's neck.

The Enforcement Directorate ( ED) and Income Tax ( I- T) officials have summoned Koda -- who was discharged from a Ranchi hospital on Sunday -- for interrogation on November 15.

What will make matters worse for the Independent Lok Sabha member is the unearthing of a Rs 45- crore transaction by the ED, which Koda failed to explain.

The enforcement agency has also ascertained details of Koda's visits to Switzerland and Germany that could help it decode some accounts in Swiss banks and possibly LTG bank in Liechtenstein.
