Gulf News reported that ABB has signed USD 21 million orders with EPC contractor China Petroleum Engineering & Construction Corporation to design and supply a state of the art integrated electrical system for the billion dollar Abu Dhabi Crude Oil Pipeline project.
As per report, with a length of 400 kilometres and a diameter of 48 inches, the pipeline from Habshan in Abu Dhabi which links to the Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Oil Operation facility will transport an estimated 1.5 million barrels of crude oil per day to the main terminal in Fujairah in the northern emirates.
