As health care remains a weighty controversy in Washington, a group at UCF is trying to be part of the solution locally by helping small businesses provide coverage for their employees.
The Florida Small Business Resources Association, a product of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation in the UCF College of Business Administration, started its new initiative two weeks ago. It provides a broad portfolio of discounted insurance and professional guidance -- previously available only to major corporations -- and places it in the hands of small-business owners.
