The Personal Care division of Denmark-based nonwovens producer Fibertex is expanding its capacity in Asia to match the continued demand in this growing market as well as to develop new products.

The DKK40 million investment in the Malaysian plant is aimed at ensuring continued supply of high quality nonwovens products to the hygiene industry in the Asian market.

The investment involves the expansion of one of the plant's two production lines with an extra beam that will increase production capacity in Malaysia by more than 10%.
