T he project was in the "dreaming" stage for 20 years. Actual design and construction took another three years.
Now, the two-centuries-old barn at Rensselaer Technology Park has been turned into a conference center with a rustic feel and state-of-the-art technology.
And Michael Wacholder, the park's director, couldn't be more proud.
On the outside, the simple L-shaped building has been clad in cement board.
