MANILA, Nov 10 Asia Pulse - Philippine motor vehicle sales reached 12,762 units in October this year, up 12.9 per cent from the 11,304 units sold in September, the highest in the past two years.
Replacement purchases for flood-damaged cars, fleet sales and overseas workers remittances, bouyed the sales hike.
The Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines Inc. (CAMPI) data shows that October sales also posted a significant 20.1 per cent increase from 10,624 units a year ago.
