SYDNEY, Nov 10 Asia Pulse - Australian retail group Wesfarmers Ltd (ASX:WES) managing director Richard Goyder says he is pleased with the group's trading in the first months of the current financial year.
"In terms of current trading, we are pleased with how the group has commenced this financial year," Mr Goyder told shareholders at the companies annual general meeting on Tuesday.
An enormous amount of work is still be done in the Coles supermarket business as Wesfarmers seeks to turn it around after its acquisition two years ago, he said.
"I feel that we are very much on the right track," Mr Goyder said.
