NORWALK, Conn. -- EMCOR Group, Inc. (NYSE: EME), a Fortune 500[R] leader in mechanical and electrical construction, energy infrastructure and facilities services for a diverse range of businesses, announced that its EMCOR Government Services unit has been awarded a contract from the General Services Administration (GSA) supporting the Office of the Surgeon General, U.S. Air Force for facilities operations and maintenance services at the medical facilities at Robins AFB, Georgia. The contract, which commenced on October 1, 2009, is for an initial twelve-month period, with options permitting GSA to extend the contract period through September 30, 2014.
